"Struggling to keep up with class, office hours, labs, homework, essays, exams, and life? Us students have the difficult task of meeting all these deadlines but no way to see them on one calendar. Well what if I told you Student Planner was a calendar, to do list, and love organizer that could save you so much time and stress! All you do is upload your syllabus and Student Planner sets all of your course homework, reading, exam, office hours, lectures, and then you can add custom events and tasks programmable with unique reminders so you never miss a deadline. That's all I've got for now, I've got to get to class."
Hey Ethan!
ReplyDeleteI really liked your elevator pitch. I thought it was very personable and relatable. The first sentence had me stressing out already! I would like to see how you present it, so I hope your video uploads soon! Great job overall, I like how you explained what the invention does easily and clearly. The ending was my favorite part. I think if I were to hear this pitch on Shark Tank, I would invest in your company!

Ethan,
ReplyDelete(I am so sad to hear that your video didn't load, but I am glad you posted your script to help us out.)
Your business idea is a very good one. Your hook was pretty good. You explained your points well, and even as I read it, the sentence structure allows for cadence and emotion when you speak.
However, I am not sure that an app would be the best idea here. I mean that you by yourself trying to build, represent, market, etc. this app would be laborious. Yet, if this idea was sold to a big company as an added feature, I think there would be a higher potential for success.
It is a really good idea, but overall, it seems very difficult to carry out.
Respectfully, Maeghan Solanki
